“We at Bernie’s Team are planning one of the next steps in our pattern of consistent growth and capability upgrading. In the next few weeks you will be hearing about our adding Technical Expertise to support the Fossil Power Generation Utilities. We have added widely recognized Subject Matter Experts to provide these utilities with boiler maintenance/management expertise. Watch Denise’s article in the future and you will see who they are and a snapshot of their background. This addition is one Bernie and I have discussed for a while, I will share that it comes earlier than either of us ever anticipated. The stars aligned and our financial position and the availability of the people have allowed us to move up the time table.

Bernie, John, Denise, Shawn and I, especially Shawn,  have all had our moments of frustration with our “Current Provider” e-Mail system, and the operator difficulties experienced. Bernie and I decided it was time to take a look at our options and the associated costs. We are excited to announce we are a few days away from the installation of the Bernie’s Team Intranet. A contract is being executed to put in place the intranet hosting with the Able Group, Inc. (AGI) a local Fort Worth IT company. AGI is installing a dedicated server for our intranet and we will no longer be subjected to the process of the “Current Provider” account. The BT intranet will be available to all Bernie’s Team members with an established “user name and password”. Shawn who is the Director of our IT Group will be providing our employees/contractors with these electronic ID’s this month. We will also be preparing and distributing access and usage instructions at the same time. My time table for the rollout is the 1^st of April, April Fool’s Day. My that is ominous, maybe I should delay it a day or so. In addition, we are planning the capability to store and search resumes and other documents. This is a big deal from an Operations perspective, as anyone who has tried to find candidates in our current system will attest too. We will be doing away with the Drop Box software, because the server will give us the same capabilities with much greater security. AGI has also been asked to provide a plan for redesigning the BT Website. We want your ideas!!!

In the course of working with AGI we recognized another service offering that Bernie’s Team could bring to its client base and are currently working through that idea. If it happens we will be able to offer additional services to our client that will include Webpage Design/Maintenance, 3-D Imaging, Software Development, It Hardware Sales and Services. One software package developed by AGI that we are interested in includes electronic time sheet processing, electronic invoicing, etc.

Sometimes I have to stop and take a deep breath and think about the fact that we are only two (2) years in operation.
